The MUNify Project

At the MUNify Project, our mission is to empower young minds from different backgrounds by providing them with the knowledge and skills to participate in Model United Nations (MUN). We aim to bridge the gap for students who lack access to these enriching experiences by organizing and hosting MUN events. Through our various committees, we strive to raise awareness about critical global issues such as environmental sustainability, social inequality, and international diplomacy. By engaging students who are passionate about public speaking and debate, we seek to inspire a new generation of leaders who will drive positive change in society.

Why MUN?

At MUNify, we believe that Model United Nations (MUN) conferences are a fantastic opportunity for students to grow and learn in many ways. Firstly, MUN helps improve public speaking skills, essential in every walk of life. Participants get to hone their debating skills, learning to make strong arguments and think independently. MUN also keeps students up-to-date with current affairs, encouraging them to look at global issues from fresh perspectives. It allows them to dive deep into various topics, gaining in-depth knowledge that might not be available in a regular classroom setting.

Additionally, MUN is a social event where participants interact with  people, making new connections and friends. And let’s not forget – it’s incredible fun! Beyond the skills and knowledge, MUN also helps develop leadership abilities that will serve participants well in the future. Joining MUN provides an enriching experience that benefits students in numerous ways.

What is the MUNify Project?

The MUNify Project is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering future leaders of tomorrow with invaluable skills through Model UN conferences. Through debate, diplomacy and dialogue we hope to enrich the views of our future leaders. The MUNify project is a platform through which young students in schools learn about the United Nations. Through these programmes, we give students who don’t have access to this form of learning a chance to learn about global issues such as the environment, inequality and human rights through various committees. The MUNify project encourages students to engage in passionate debate and dialogue to create social change.

Our project aims to equip all school students with the ability to participate in both national and international MUN conferences.
